The black pieces above are from this 1977 MGB that was brought to us with clutch problems. We determined that these black pieces, which we believe to be part of the clutch hose, were the source of the problem. The pieces sloughed out of the clutch hose and into the clutch slave cylinder where they impeded the free flow of brake fluid causing the clutch to over-throw. A very unique problem indeed!
Greg was telling us that last night he was watching a show on A&E about the Kinks, and how they always arrived to shows in a Sunbeam Alpine. Just as Greg finished his story, a Sunbeam Alpine pulled into the shop's parking lot!
