Here we have two TD/c Mark IIs parked next to each other. The one on the left is a 1953 and belongs to Bill Hirsch. Mr. Hirsch has owned the car for a year, and he purchased it from a family friend who had owned the car for 47 years! The one on the right is a 1952 and belongs to Dave Cooper. Mr. Cooper has owned the car for 40 years! What makes a TD/c so special? A TD/c has four extra Andrex shocks, 1 1/2" carburetors (same as TFs), a bubble on the right-hand side bonnet, and only about 1,800 were produced! Two of these models parked next to each other is a rare occurrence!
Our three part series about the Zenith Stromberg carburetor!
