My son James and I spent several hours on Sunday cleaning the carpets in the front of the shop -- we were pleased to find them nearly dry on Monday morning. Lisa left the heat elevated just a bit last night, so they should be nicely dry by today. Despite the cold weather and snow, the air is, in fact, very dry, and aids the drying process.

There was so much snow and ice that both James and Charley Olsen (Charley is a HS senior) spent all day at the shop painting and cleaning in preparation for our birthday party this coming Saturday.

Casey worked away on the Twin Cam -- see his progress on the PROJECTS blog; Curt worked away on the TD from Nevada. Then later in the day, the owner came to visit the car. He lives in Reno and is visiting his daughter who lives in Ada. We've just done the brakes and changed over to a high speed differential. John worked on the twin six volt batteries on an MGB/GT; then diagnosed a faulty cylinder head gasket on a Sunbeam Alpine, and finished the day working on GOLDSTAR MGA remote control housings. Trevor worked on some carburetters which have been shipped to us from Idaho.

What will Tuesday bring?

UNIVERSITY MOTORS BIRTHDAY PARTY #32
